Activity Types
Staff Mobility for Teaching and Staff Mobility for Training, including combined (teaching + training) periods.

1. KA171 Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM)

International Credit Mobility (ICM) supports the mobility of individuals enrolled or employed at a higher education institution (HEI), from a Programme Country to a Partner Country. Partner Countries are all the other countries in the world, grouped together in different regions. Not all Partner Countries are eligible for international credit mobility.

2. Duration of the Mobility

Mobility Periods

2.1. Staff Mobility for Teaching

Staff mobility for teaching is for academic staff and for invited staff from non-academic organizations to teach at a partner higher education institution (HEI) abroad.
The mobility period can last from 5 days to 2 months.

2.2. Staff Mobility for Training

Staff mobility for training is for teaching and non-teaching staff in the form of training events abroad (excluding conferences), job shadowing, observation periods and/or training at a partner HEI.
The mobility period can last from 5 days to 2 months.

This activity also supports the mobility of staff from Partner Country HEIs to train at a non-academic organization located in a Programme Country.

2.3. Combined Teaching and Training

Staff teaching and training activities can be combined in a single mobility period.

In case of less than 5 days for staff training mobility, at least 8 hours of training is expected to be completed.

Please note that campus tour activity is not considered as an official activity in the work plan for teaching and training mobility.

3. Eligible Organisations

Other organizations in Programme and Partner Countries are also eligible to take part in an ICM project. These organisations can:

  • Host students on traineeship or HEI staff in training,
  • Send staff to teach at a higher education institution.

These organizations must be active in the labour market or in the fields of education, training and youth.

4. Application and Selection Criteria

Please have in mind the following facts when circulating the call and when ranking the applications:

  • Full-time academic/administrative staff employed at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakif University can be eligible to benefit from Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Teaching/Training.
  • A valid Erasmus+ Inter-institutional Agreement with the respective host university within the relevant field of teaching/training.
  • Staff can apply online via TURNA Portal.
