KA171 – Erasmus+ Student Mobility for Studies

Erasmus+ KA171 (International Credit Mobility) enables students of Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University to undertake study periods at partner universities located outside Europe within the framework of Erasmus+ cooperation projects.

Academic Recognition

Courses completed during the mobility period are recognised at FSMVU in accordance with the ECTS system and the approved Learning Agreement.

Global Experience

Students gain international academic experience by studying at partner universities in non-European countries.

Institutional Support

The International Programs Office (IPO) provides guidance and support before, during, and after the mobility period.

Overview

Erasmus+ KA171 Student Mobility for Studies offers FSMVU students the opportunity to study at higher education institutions in partner countries outside Europe. The programme is implemented on a project basis and is limited to universities with which FSMVU has a valid inter-institutional agreement.

Mobility opportunities, partner countries, and quotas vary depending on the scope and budget of the approved Erasmus+ KA171 projects.

Duration

Students may participate in Erasmus+ KA171 study mobility for a minimum period of 3 months and a maximum period of 12 months. The mobility period must correspond to a full academic term.

Eligibility and Application

All enrolled bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral students of Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University are eligible to apply for KA171 student mobility for studies.

Academic achievement 50%
Foreign language proficiency 50%

Applications are submitted via the TURNA Portal operated by the Turkish National Agency.

Academic Requirements

  • Undergraduate students: Minimum CGPA of 2.20 / 4.00
  • Graduate students: Minimum CGPA of 2.50 / 4.00

Financial Support

Selected students may receive monthly grants and travel support, subject to the conditions and budget of the relevant Erasmus+ KA171 project. Participation without receiving a grant is also possible.

Academic Recognition

Courses successfully completed during the mobility period are recognised within the framework of the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS), provided that they are approved in the Learning Agreement.

  • Quotas are limited and defined by the project scope.
  • Mobility is available only for partner institutions announced in the official call.
