International Opportunities for FSMVU Students

FSMVU offers outgoing mobility opportunities through Erasmus+ KA131, Erasmus+ KA171, Global Exchange and the Orhun Exchange Programme. Students can study or complete a traineeship abroad while gaining academic recognition and cultural enrichment.

Overview

Outgoing mobility enables FSMVU students to participate in international study or traineeship periods through several programmes. These experiences strengthen academic skills, intercultural awareness and career prospects.

Erasmus+ KA131 (Programme Countries)

KA131 supports mobility to European Programme Countries. Students may study at partner universities or complete traineeships in eligible institutions.

Study Mobility

2–12 months of academic study with financial support and full ECTS recognition.

Traineeship Mobility

2–12 months of internship mobility with international work experience.

Erasmus+ KA171 (International Credit Mobility)

KA171 provides opportunities for mobility outside Europe — including Africa, Asia, Balkans, Caucasus and other regions. Students receive travel support and individual grants.

  • Destinations at non-EU partner universities.
  • Travel and individual support grants according to project rules.
  • Project-based partnerships with defined quotas.

Global Exchange Programme

FSMVU maintains bilateral agreements with universities worldwide, enabling student exchanges outside the Erasmus framework.

  • Semester or full-year exchanges.
  • Destinations across Asia, the Americas, the Middle East and Africa.
  • Scholarship-based or self-funded models depending on the agreement.

Orhun Exchange Programme

The Orhun Exchange Programme strengthens academic and cultural cooperation among Turkic States.

  • Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan.
  • One-semester exchange opportunities.
  • No tuition fee at the host university.

Application Process

  • Annual call for applications announced by the International Programs Unit (IPU).
  • Online application and document upload via the institutional system.
  • Language exam and academic evaluation.
  • Placement results and nomination.
  • Issuance of Acceptance Letter and Learning Agreement.
  • Grant Agreement signature and pre-departure procedures.

The International Programs Unit (IPU) supports students with university selection, course matching, visa documentation, Learning Agreement processes and academic recognition after mobility.
