Application Process
Welcome to Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University (FSMVU) — one of Istanbul’s leading universities combining academic excellence and cultural diversity. We are excited to welcome international exchange students who wish to study and experience life in Istanbul.
Prepare and submit the required application documents to the International Programs Unit.
After evaluation, FSMVU issues the Letter of Acceptance to the home institution.

Before Application
Overview
Each incoming student must be nominated by their home university within the scope of a valid bilateral agreement for the relevant faculty or department at FSMVU.
Once the nomination is received, the International Programs Unit (IPU) will guide the applicant through every step of the process, including document submission and acceptance.

Nomination & Documents
Application Procedure
The home university coordinator must send a nomination email to IPU containing the following information:
Name of the institution
Full name and contact information of the student
Field of study
Intended mobility period — Fall, Spring or full academic year
Required Documents
After nomination, students must complete and email the following documents to [email protected].

Evaluation & Acceptance
After Submission
Once the application is reviewed, the International Exchange Coordinator and the International Programs Unit (IPU) issue the Letter of Acceptance to the student’s home institution.
