Erasmus+ Internship (Traineeship) Mobility
Erasmus+ student mobility for traineeship can be carried out in institutions contacted by the University or in institutions/companies contacted directly by the student. The traineeship must be relevant to the student’s field of study and aims to strengthen professional skills and employability.
After receiving a positive response from the host organisation, students must request an official acceptance letter to be included in their Erasmus+ application file.
Important Notes
- Students are responsible for their traineeship companies.
- Students are responsible for their accommodation arrangements.
- Traineeship duration must be between 2 and 12 months.
- Mobility should be completed before 15 July 2025.
- All candidate students should take the foreign language exam prepared by FSMVU Foreign Languages Department.
Application Procedure
- Find a host organisation related to your field of study (e.g., Law students should complete the traineeship in a Law Office).
- Obtain an official acceptance letter from the host organisation (scanned copies accepted). The letter must include the exact traineeship period in the format DD/MM/YYYY – DD/MM/YYYY.
- Submit your application via the TURNA Portal: https://turnaportal.ua.gov.tr
- Take the English Proficiency Test.
Once the total score is calculated, the required minimum score is announced. Students who meet the minimum score gain the right to benefit from Erasmus+ traineeship mobility with grant support, subject to quota and rules.
Students make preparations for their work placement abroad (visa, documents, accommodation) independently. When required for visa applications, IPU provides an official document confirming Erasmus+ traineeship status.
