Welcome to FSMVU
Thank you for choosing Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University (FSMVU) for your exchange mobility. We are delighted to welcome you to Istanbul and wish you a productive and inspiring stay at our university.
Incoming students must first be nominated by their home institution within the framework of a bilateral agreement. Once the nomination and application are received, FSMVU provides an official acceptance letter and detailed information on registration, academic procedures, and life in Istanbul.

Simple Application Process
Nominated students submit their applications and receive guidance from FSMVU’s International Programs Unit.

Academic Recognition
Courses are awarded ECTS credits and recognized within the applicable academic mobility framework.

Orientation & Support
Students are supported through orientation, academic guidance and integration activities during their stay.
Before Your Mobility
Application and Nomination
Incoming Erasmus+ or Exchange students must be officially nominated by their home university. After nomination, students receive an email with application instructions and required documents.

Nomination by the student's home university via email.
Application
Submission of the Learning Agreement, Transcript, ID copy and related documents.
Acceptance
FSMVU issues an official acceptance letter after the application is evaluated.
Pre-Arrival
Residence permit and relevant pre-arrival information are provided to the student.
