Outside these hours, our office remains open and support is provided depending on staff availability.

How to Reach Our University

Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakif University (FSMVU) has several campuses across Istanbul. The Topkapı Campus, where the International Programs Unit is located, is easily accessible by public transportation.

For visitors arriving by air, both Istanbul Airport (IST) and Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) offer convenient transportation options to the city:

Airport Shuttles (HAVAIST / HAVABUS)

Direct routes to central districts such as Beşiktaş, Taksim, Kadıköy and Yenikapı.

Public Buses

Frequent municipal buses operate between both airports and many parts of the city.

Metro

Istanbul Airport (IST) is connected to the city via the M11 metro line.

Taxi & Private Transfer

Taxis are available 24/7 at both airports. Pre-booked private transfer services are also possible.

All public transportation requires a fare, and using an Istanbulkart is recommended.

Transportation to the Topkapı Campus (Office Location)

The following public transportation options are within walking distance or require a short transfer:

Reachable by a short bus ride or taxi.

Topkapı Campus is located between major transportation hubs such as Cevizlibağ, Topkapı and Zeytinburnu, making it highly accessible from both the European and Asian sides of Istanbul.
